KTSG Urged To Construct Hospital In Mai’adua

Alhaji Mamman Salisu, the Chairman of Mai’adua Local Government in Katsina state has urged the state government to establish a standard hospital that will provide medical services to people in the area.
The chairman stated this during an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Mai’adua.
He disclosed that the hospital when established would provide assistance to over one million people.
The chairman further disclosed that the establishment of the hospital would save several pregnant women and children from untimely deaths.
Salisu also disclosed that several of their people who had emergency cases were usually rushed to Daura General hospital for treatment.
According to him, when the hospital is established it will serve as a shield to Nigeriens because many patients from Niger Republic troop to the area to seek medical treatment.
The chairman revealed that the local council was ready to provide parcel of land for the construction of the hospital.
Salisu further revealed that the area is blessed with several medical personnels that are ready to serve their people.
He commended the Katsina state government for giving maximum support to local councils in the state.
